This one is for you, dad. Happy Birthday. 

Nigel and I participated in a Christmas pageant this week. We are wearing tux coats (with tails), bowties, and silly silly outfits. 

I went ice skating Monday night and in the window of a shop there was this guy. It was like a little bit of home. 

At our tree planting, this boy, "Polo", was being the biggest pain in my butt. He was refusing to work, disrespecting me and the other volunteers, and generally being a nuisance. Then, I snapped this wonderful picture of him hiding in the bushes. I look at this picture and think that even when we're faced with difficult situations (kids that aren't cooperating; for instance), beauty can even come from those times. In all our times of stress and difficulty, God can bring forth something wonderful and unexpected, if you look closely.
